What do I do with my Zip Oyster Card Pin thingy?

I have recently acquired a Zip Card for 11-15-year-olds, and the booklet, letter etc. keep telling me about this PIN number… I have NO idea what they are talking about – where can I find the PIN number and what is its purpose????

the pin should be on the letter they send you but there is no need for the pin
