Arbitrage Conspiracy Launches With A Huge… Fizzle?

Well, well, well, I guess even the “big boys” aren’t immune to technical glitches, hey?
The Arbitrage Conspiracy site was supposed to launch yesterday at 3pm Pacific time and when I got to the site, it said that the sales page wouldn’t be available until “EXACTLY” 3pm.
So, since it WAS already 3pm, I waited a couple minutes and refreshed.
Same message.
I continued with some work I was doing and then went back to the page about a half hour later. Refreshed. Same Message.
An hour later, refresh. Then there was a “we’re having technical difficulties, sorry for the delay” message.
You’d think that with all the heavy-hitters involved with this launch that they would’ve had enough resources available to not only have all their ducks in a row, but have the ducks performing like F-18’s in attack formation!
About 3 or so hours after the scheduled launch, they announced that they were going to delay by 21 hours.
Now, you haven’t heard a word out of me concerning the Arbitrage Conspiracy until now and for a good reason.
I had planned on evaluating the package, as I do with any product, before mentioning it.
I’ll admit that I was definitely intrigued by what little information they had released during pre-launch and even though one of my clients had attended their $10,000 one-day workshop, they were sworn to “secrecy” and couldn’t share!
After viewing the video on the site and reading the Arbitrage Conspiracy Report, I was a bit skeptical, but still interested in the product.
My main concern was that in the report, they mentioned that you could get started for as little as $5 a day, but later mentioned multiple campaigns costing $2500+ per day.
If you know anything about Adwords, even if you’re bidding on words that cost a few cents per click, $5 would be gone within an hour or so.
So, I went and signed up as an affiliate anyways, just in case.
Once inside, there was contact information for their affiliate manager and I immediately tried to contact him.
I was hoping to get early access to the product for review. I would have been willing to pay for it, but never heard back.
Why am I telling you this? A couple reasons.
First….
Because they have said that they’re ‘only releasing 500 copies’ of this system and I needed to get in early so that I would have enough time to review the product and tell you what I thought about it.
Unfortunately, I will be teaching a class today at 3pm Pacific and I won’t be “at the ready” to refresh the page and purchase.

Second….
I want you to learn a lesson from this.
Instead of going ahead with the launch and having a BUNCH of pissed off customers and/or affiliates because the system wasn’t working properly, they held off.
Sure, people were disappointed when the site wasn’t open and I’m sure that there were a couple people that were mad about it, but disappointed is WAY better than having to deal with refunds and lost commissions.
Now, I don’t know what the problem was exactly, but I do know that they did the right thing.
My point is, don’t ever be afraid to delay a launch if you’re having technical problems.
This doesn’t mean that everything has to be perfect either.
There will always be small issues to deal with during and after a launch, but if it’s something major (and I’m sure it was), don’t shoot yourself in the foot by launching anyways, just to open on time!
And third….
The downside is for affiliates that scheduled promotions according to their launch.
I got emails all afternoon telling me that “It’s Live!” go now before it’s sold out!
But, if you’ve done your job as an affiliate by creating a relationship with your subscribers, it shouldn’t be an issue at all. They’ll understand that it wasn’t your fault and as long as you’ve done your homework and haven’t referred them to a piece of crap product, it will be a no harm, no foul situation.

Are you doing what it takes to move confidently in the direction of your dreams?
Or are you working your butt off creating quality products and services for few to no sales at all.
Maybe, you “think” you’re doing great, but if you don’t have an affiliate program in place, you’re leaving thousands of dollars on the table. Dollars that your competitors will gladly claim for themselves!
And if you do have your own affiliate program, are you treating it like a business? Or was it an afterthought, just something that you thought you should have.
There are literally 1000’s of business owners that fall into the three categories that I just mentioned and I can only assume, since you’re still reading this, you’re one of them!
Don’t waste your time and money!

What is red thats growing on the green plastic plants in my aquarium?
Today I noticed one of my green plastic plants turning red at the top of one of them. I haven’t added any new fish lately or plants. Can anyone tell me what it is and is it harmful?
It is algae. The red stuff is harmful to fish that eat the algae. It doesn’t seem to bother the others.

how can u change a scanned file into text format using a hp all-in-one?
i have a hp psc 1610 all in one ( printer, scanner, copier)
and i am trying to scan something and then change the format so i can edit it in microsft office word 2007, how would i do that?
please help.
All recent HP scanners come with software to do Optical Character Recognition (OCR). In the case of mine, it’s included with the HP Director icon that was put on my desktop when I installed the software. Look for a Scan Document icon in it if you have it.
But be warned: OCR is an art, not a science. I can almost guarantee that you will have to fix:
1.Mis-converted fonts.
2.Mis-read characters (i for l, for instance, o, 0 or Q mixups)
3.Mangled layout.
In particular, if you’re trying to scan in a form so you can fill it out with Word, you’re probably going to be disappointed by what gets scanned in.

The acronym VIN actually stands for Vehicle Identification Number. They are actually utilized so as to identify motor vehicles. Each one is unique so it stands as the vehicle’s identity. At present, the usual VIN is made up of some 17 characters. What is quite fascinating is that they do not include the letters I, O, and Q.
The VIN is usually found at the upper left side of your vehicle’s dashboard. If you found it, you would see all 17 characters on it. The first character represents the nation of origin of your vehicle, although it could also stand for the final point of assembly. For example, J is for Japan, W is for Germany, 1 is for the US, and 2 is for Canada.
The next character is actually the code of the manufacturer. A is for Audi, B is for BMW, L is for Lincoln, and N is for Nissan. These are just a few. Of course, there are various characters for each one. The characters number four to eight are actually information or codes about the vehicle’s series, body type, restraint system, and engine code. As per the ninth character, it is the so-called check digit. It could be a number from 0 to 9 or it could also be the letter X. This is called such for officers and experts in this field could actually know if you have tampered with your vehicle through this character.
The 10th character’s position actually indicates the model year. A is for 1980, B is for 1981, C is for 1982, D is for 1983, E is for 1984, F is for 1985, G is for 1986, H is for 1987, J is for 1988, K is for 1989, L is for 1990, M is for 1991, N is for 1992, P is for 1993, R is for 1994, S is for 1995, T is for 1996, V is for 1997, W is for 1998, X is for 1999, Y is for 2000, 1 is for 2001, 2 is for 2002, 3 is for 2003, 4 is for 2004, 5 is for 2005, 6 is for 2006, 7 is for 2007, 8 is for 2008, and 9 is for 2009.
The 11th character shows the place where the vehicle is assembled. If you see the number 9 in that position, it would mean that the vehicle has been assembled in Detroit, Michigan. The characters from the 12th to the 17th positions are the production sequence numbers.
It is important for you to be able to understand the VIN. After all, it contains various pieces of information about your vehicle. It is also your vehicle’s unique identifier.
